I am looking for any information on the marriage of John & Maria Cloyd. There children were Joe, Richard, Mary, Elnora, Virginia, Arlena. They were originally in Halifax Co, NC, but later moved to Desoto Co., MS before 1900. John Cloyd was a slave who joined the Union army during the Union war.
Additionally, I would appreciate any information on his slave owner and parents.
